Imagine the convenience and ease of emphasizing your natural beauty utilizing the application of permanent makeup. Wouldn't it be nice to wake up in the morning and be able to dress and run off to work? With permanent makeup this has been made possible. Whether it is eyeliner, eyebrows or lip shading permanent makeup may be the solution for you.
The colors are subtle and can be worn alone for a soft, natural look, then you can add your own desired makeup to fit any occasion.
Permanent makeup is ideal if you have an active life style, wear contacts, personal limitations, participate in sports. If you have sparse eyebrow hairs, allergies or have lips that could appear fuller, permanent makeup may be the answer.
With permanent eyeliner you can enhance your natural shape, add a complimenting color or make your lashes appear longer and thicker. Permanent eyebrow color can help you maintain a desired shape or achieve a softer look than pencil shaping. Lip Liner and full lip shading can make thin or crooked lips appear fuller and more symmetrical. Also natural lip color can be restored.
The earliest evidence of tattooing dates back to the ice age. Permanent makeup is very safe when applied by a well trained technician. There are three methods for applying permanent makeup. The traditional coil machine, rotary machine or manual method. Most permanent makeup is done with "iron oxide" pigments. These are non toxic to tissue, non irritating and long lasting. The chances of developing an allergic reaction to these pigments is very remote. Iron oxide pigments are non magnetic. It is a myth that a client can not have an MRI. You can!
SofTap® is a manual system with no moving parts. Unlike traditional tattoo machines there is less trauma to the skin, fast healing, and complete control of pigment placement. Most clients find the procedures very tolerable. Every step is taken to ensure a clients comfort. There can be some swelling and discomfort with these procedures.
My personal motto for tattooing is "less is more". I also teach all my students this. A good technician will always add more color or thickness on the follow up appointment. Permanent makeup is a multiple session procedure. Usually taking two applications to perfect. Permanent makeup is a permanent cosmetic tattoo. However, the reality is color fades. Touch up session will range on an individual basis from one to ten years. Certain medications like High Blood Pressure may prematurely fade your cosmetic tattoo. Other fading factors are sun, tanning beds, pools, Retin A, glycolic products or anything with acidic acid. Laser removal of color or hair can pull pigment black. Be sure to tell your skin care expert about your cosmetic tattoo. Anything meant to exfoliate your skin can affect the integrity of you permanent makeup. Please keep products and peels at least 2 inches away from the treated area. If you see any color shift in your permanent makeup please call and book a touch up to refresh your makeup. Being in the desert clients may need more touch up work, than if they lived in a damper community.
I hope to touch as many lives as possible with application of permanent makeup. There are many woman who are breast cancer survivors that also are benefiting from the permanent application to restore AREOLA color after a Mastectomy. What a wonderful job permanent makeup artists have!
