In early October 2005 my daughter, Ashley, and I completed a Permanent Makeup course with Jane Adler of Everlasting Facial Arts. Jane's enthusiasm and professionalism for SofTap® Permanent Makeup application far exceeded our expectations.
During the course of a week we not only covered theory inside and out, but were working hands-on with practical application the second day of class. Jane made the course fun and extremely informative. Our experience was very personalized and we each received plenty of one-on-one instruction with Jane. By day three we were working on live models and being closely observed by Jane every step of the way. We felt safe and secure with Jane's instruction and supervision as did our models. The end result of each application, whether it was eyeliner, eyebrows or lips, was done professionally and greatly appreciated by all models participating.
We feel very excited to have received this training and are looking forward to continuing our practice in our own business setting. This is in no way an advertisement. I do not work for Jane Adler or SofTap. This is my personal opinion on a class that, I took. I stress the importance of continued education for all of us. I think it is important to share good news about a training experience.
I just thought I would share my latest adventure!! My husband and I decided to take our blast off to the empty nest trip in Arizona. I chose Arizona so that I could take a one day advanced SofTap® class with Jane Adler.
I arrived at Jane's studio on Friday of last week. After a warm welcome Jane gave me a tour of her new studio. I think I had my mouth hanging open the whole time, WOW!! This studio is so beautiful and professional. It is obvious that Jane put her heart and soul into setting up this studio with her clients and students in mind.
I went to this class with an open mind to learn. Jane was so prepared and has quite an eye for detail in everything she does. There were models scheduled and no interruptions. We worked from 9am to 6pm. The time flew as I learned many new techniques and had a very fun time!! This class definitely exceeded my high expectations!!!! Thanks Jane

My name is Tony McCammon and I am writing this to let everyone know how I feel about Softap® Permanent Cosmetics. Let's just say, I believe it is True Love.
I have been a makeup artist for the past 11 years and have done Conventional, day, evening, photography and black and white photography makeup as well as teach classes. I have been interested in permanent cosmetics for about the last 6 years now. A couple of years ago when I decided to "go for it" and get trained in this amazing field I started researching via Internet and one of the first persons I found was Jane Adler. She is warm, open, honest and truly interested in helping permanent makeup. artists succeed and become better. Her passion for this industry and for Softap® Manual Method is clear from the moment that someone meets her. Because I live in Oregon and the laws are different here, I was not able to do my initial training with Jane. She was and still has been there for me every step of the way, taking her valuable time to encourage me whenever I needed it.
This past September when Softap® released disposable hand tools and comfort needles I decided it was time to once again "go for it". When I got to my first day of class with Jane, I already felt like I knew her and because of all of the information that I received from Jane as well as Softap, I felt like I was already one step ahead on learning the hand method.
This method has absolutely changed my life!! I enjoyed my career as a permanent makeup.-artist before but wanted more, THIS IS IT!!! I absolutely love using Softap® and the things that I have learned from Jane. I can't imagine not knowing this method. I had been using the coil, now it sits on the shelf collecting dust. My body is more comfortable with this method and so are my clients. They love it! (When I did my mom's brows, she fell asleep and even snored -sorry mom!) My results are better than ever because I am able to see the color uptake immediately. I believe my passion for this industry has increased 10 fold since learning this method and it is evident to my clients. Upon returning from my training with Jane, I had to add a 12-hour day to my week to accomodate permanent makeup. clients and booked almost $2000.00 immediately in additional services. My clients can feel my excitement and see the AMAZING results. THIS IS SO COOL!
If anyone reading this is interested in learning to do permanent makeup. or already does it and wants to learn the hand method I URGE you to contact Jane Adler or Alexis Lawson at Softap. These are two incredible women and one phenomenal company. You will learn a method that with careful study will give you the most excellent results and will excite you about what it is your doing. I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about what I've learned and my experience while doing so. I could go on and on (but I'm pretty sure you all get the hint!)

For any prospective Permanent Makeup Artist looking for a school to learn this delicate craft, you have found your home! After researching several 'schools' from California to Florida, I found the facility, teacher and method of permanent makeup right here in my own backyard, Arizona. Although I am lucky enough to have found Jane Adler, her Everlasting Facial & Body Art facility and the greatest method of permanent makeup so close to my home, I would have traveled long distances to get the education that I received from Jane. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, experience and love for this business far exceeded any expectations that I had starting class. And I had very high expectations! Not only did I receive material before and during my education, but most importantly I continue to receive her guidance in my own personnal journey into this business.Her availability is calming as a newcomer in this business. Look for yourself, ask questions of other 'schools', investigate the type of education you want. In the end you'll know why Jane is so highly regarded........she's the best!!
